Do you dislike, or even hate, chain emails? You know the ones I mean. Emails forwarded from friends and family featuring cute kittens, sappy inspirational poems and blessings, and a threat that your hair is going to fall out if you don’t forward it to ten people in the next five minutes.
I don’t forward or respond to chain emails, even if my best friend sent it. I am happy to report I still have a full head of hair.
I received a chain email the other day and rather than immediately deleting it, I scrolled to the bottom. It was from my dad so I thought I better see if he added a note. He didn’t, but this photo captured my attention.
How nice when Mother Nature smiles down on us. It was probably photoshopped but I like it anyway.
Happy Friday.
Ack! Chain emails! The bane of my existence………..lol
Russel! You are back at my place camping! Love, love, love it. Welcome my friend.
That is very pretty! I don’t hate chain mail, as such, but I do really dislike the negative vibe it can so often send out. I prefer funny forwards, genuinely amusing ones and I also like those ones that require folk to answer questions about themselves. 🙂
I love it when I am sent something and it makes me laugh out loud. If you get something like that, send it my way!
Absolutely! 🙂
I don’t seem to get any chain email, but wouldn’t like it if I did. I agree with Vanessa. Pause first 🙂
Next time I receive a chain email I’ll forward it to you.
Hahaha, thanks. I think.
Oh yes! Thankfully my correspondents have – at last – to the picture and refrain, knowing I’ll break their link ….
Do you still have your hair?
Chain letters can be amusing and they let you know which of your friends are the suckers….its nice to have a list just in case you are broke and have a bridge to sell.
Bahahahaha! That really made me laugh. Do you have a bridge to sell?
Hate chain emails, love the photo! ~ Lily
I was afraid I might alienate any readers who LOVE chain email. So far, no one has piped up to defend their right to do mass distributions of kitten and pony photos.
I hate them too, sometimes I feel like saying “Nice friend you are, sending me death threats!”. The other thing I hate is when people forward on all the various warnings about things, most of which are urban legends. There’s a thing called snopes.com people, let’s use it and check things out before we forward them on shall we! Rant over. Lovely photo 🙂
So true. It is a tad unnerving then your dad sends you a death threat veiled in sweet nothings.
I know what you mean about the chain emails. Usually I delete them afer I check who they’re from. Some need to be opened like yours above.
Love the picture. I think I’ve seen it before but it made me smile again.
Well aren’t you sweet. Hey, you wanted to talk off-blog. I’m around!
I hear you, about the chain letters! I think I saw this photo on the good ol’ FB. I liked it too! Nice post.
Have a great weekend Ms. Sunshine!
And you as well 😉
