I love this… I get impatient while waiting for the opportunity, even a moment to read. Blogs, books, articles – there is never enough time. I have books downloaded to my phone so I can catch even more elusive moments where a hardcopy book may not be to hand. I feel sad for people who don’t read and whose homes are bereft of bookcases… and piles of books read or tantalisingly waiting themselves, to be read.
Yeah. I don’t get it when people say they don’t like to read. How can you not like to read?!? They must not be reading the right books. As Harper said, “Books are magic carpets.”
Very inspirational and fun.
By the way, Robin, way to mess with my head on my blog.
You’re a crafty one, Robin Coyle.
Sorry, but you set yourself up for that one.
Never apologize for being naughty!

I am reblogging a reblog — if it is good enough for Robin — it is good enough for me!
I adore this reblog. Thank you, Robin.
Lately I haven’t had enough time to read. Yesterday, I gave my day to catching up and my soul is replenished.
Easter is a lovely day to get caught up on reading.
Robin, not only a gifted writer, but a generous soul. Thank you. HF
Aw, shucks. Same to you buddy.
great reblog
Harper’s post was reblog worthy, for sure.
I think he said what we would have said on the subject
Only he said it better than I could have.
No way, Jose
I agree! HF
Group hug.
I just left an uber long comment over there – what a great, great post! 🙂 Thanks for sharing it!
I’ll head over to check out your comment.
His post was something I would have written, if I had his talent.
That was a goodie. Thanks for passing along the post, Robin!
You bet. Harper is always a great read. This one stopped me in my tracks.
Lovely post.
Harper is a great writer. When he isn’t being serious like in the reading post, I laugh out loud when I read him.
Good post! Reading is so important being a writer. It is such an important tool when it comes to developing and improving our craft.
Don’t they say writers should read everyday to help them become better writers? I believe it.
That was a wonderful post. Then again, they always are from Harper. He’s a gifted writer.
Carrie never says that to me at my blog! But then again, she is so busy writing her next great book, she probably doesn’t have the time. Check it out! HF
Well, you know, HF, wouldn’t want you to get a big ego or anything, so I have to parcel my praise out in tiny bits here and there…
We wouldn’t want Harper to get an inflated ego. He head wouldn’t fit through the door and he would be impossible to live with.
And that would not be fair to his lovely wife.
